Healthy Knots Ambassadors
Healthy Knots Ambassadors are a group of high-school, undergraduate and graduate students with an enthusiasm for mental health awareness, equity and inclusion, and breaking down barriers for all students to access support on campus.
Our objective is to decrease mental health related stigma around seeking help, and practising self-care by leveraging the advantages of peer-to-peer education and the strength of connection. This programme demands a large time commitment from the students as well as good organisational and communication skills, the ability to work well and with respect in a diverse group, maturity and empathy, and a high level of responsibility.
Aim
Our goal is to create a safe space where mental health is prioritized and discussed and to make all mental health support and resources easily accessible. This can be accomplished if you choose to become a Mental Health Ambassador and a Mental Health Warrior, as well as to start, join, and be a part of a community for mental health that promotes sincere, meaningful conversations and provides a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment.
